SysAid ITSM Pricing 2026 - What the ITSM Tier Actually Costs

SysAid ITSM Pricing resolves to a single number, because there is no separate ITSM edition to buy. Change management, problem management, CMDB and workflow automation all sit inside the Professional plan at $89 per agent per month list, or about $57.85 through DataLunix at up to 35% off.

What does SysAid ITSM Pricing look like at a glance?

There is no separate SysAid ITSM price because there is no separate ITSM SKU. The ITIL process set ships inside Professional at $89 per agent per month list, about $57.85 through DataLunix. Enterprise sits above it at a custom price starting at 20 agents, and what it adds is governance, scale and support rather than core ITIL capability.

ITSM is a solution page on SysAid's website. The $108 per agent ITSM figure circulating online was a third-party estimate, not a SysAid price

Take the comparison seriously in both directions. Against Freshservice Pro, SysAid is $10 cheaper at list and about $11 cheaper through DataLunix, and it bundles asset management and AI that Freshservice meters. Against HaloITSM, which DataLunix discounts more steeply, SysAid comes out higher: roughly $57.85 against $49 per agent per month. If pure licence cost is the deciding factor, Halo wins that line.

What is a SysAid ITSM subscription and how does it work?

A SysAid ITSM subscription is simply a Professional subscription with the ITIL processes switched on. You license agents, not processes, so enabling change management or building a CMDB does not move you to a more expensive plan or add a module fee to the invoice.

For an ITIL-aligned desk this changes how you scope the deal. The historical SysAid model, still described in the vendor's own legacy support FAQ, split a Basic Edition for help desk work from a Full Edition for ITSM, and priced administrators, assets and modules separately. That model is gone from the pricing page. What you scope now is agent count, managed asset count and how much automation you will run, because Workato credits are the one automation unit SysAid publishes: 100,000 with Professional and 300,000 with Enterprise. What consumes a credit, and what a credit costs beyond the allowance, are not published, so put both questions in writing before you commit.

How do SysAid ITSM licenses work?

Licences are per agent, and an agent is anyone who works inside the platform as an administrator. Requesters, approvers and the wider workforce are unlimited and unlicensed, which is unusual in ITSM pricing and materially changes the arithmetic for a large employee base.

The practical question for an ITIL shop is who counts as an agent. Service desk analysts and change and problem managers clearly do. Business approvers who only tick a change record in the self-service portal generally do not, because portal users are end users. SysAid does not publish a definitive boundary for approver and CAB roles, so confirm your specific workflow with the vendor or with DataLunix before you count seats. SysAid's documentation does confirm one useful detail: disabled administrator accounts do not consume a licence, so seasonal and contract staff can be deactivated rather than paid for.

Which SysAid ITSM plans are available?

Two plans are purchasable, and neither is called ITSM. The names on SysAid's price list are Professional and Enterprise. The ITSM label survives in site navigation as a solution page, which is why buyers keep searching for a tier that no longer has a price attached to it.

  • Professional — $89 per agent per month list, about $57.85 through DataLunix. This is the ITIL tier in everything but name: incident, request, change and problem management, CMDB, SLA management, custom workflows, dashboards and BI analytics, SysAid Copilot for agents and end users, 250 managed assets and two-year data retention.

  • Enterprise — custom, starting at 20 agents, quoted by DataLunix. Aimed at governed environments: a sandbox for testing workflow changes before production, tailor-made AI agents, 300,000 Workato credits, a Qlik BI power-user seat, seven-year retention for audit, Gold support with a one-hour P1 target and up to 100 department workspaces.

  • ITSM and ESM tiers — positioning, not price points. ESM, covering non-IT departments and department workspaces, maps commercially to the Enterprise quote because that is where the 100 workspaces sit. Neither has a published rate of its own.

  • Release management — worth a separate check. Change and problem are named capabilities on SysAid's ITSM page; release management is not listed as a distinct module. If formal release management is a hard requirement in your ITIL scope, ask for it to be demonstrated rather than assumed.

There is no published cap on Professional and no published minimum agent count for it either. The only published threshold in SysAid's model is the 20-agent floor for Enterprise, and that is a floor for entering Enterprise, not a ceiling that forces you off Professional. If a quote tells you otherwise, ask which published document it comes from.

Who is the best SysAid ITSM reseller?

DataLunix is an authorised SysAid reseller and prices the ITIL set at about $57.85 per agent per month against the $89 list, up to 35% off depending on volume, term and product mix. The licence and the vendor support entitlement are identical to buying direct.

For an ITIL rollout the reseller question is really a scoping question. On a 25-agent service desk, list price is $2,225 a month, or $26,700 a year; through DataLunix that becomes about $1,446.25 a month, roughly $17,355 a year. The saving is real, but the number that decides your budget is often the one nobody published: asset capacity beyond 250, Workato overage, on-premises deployment, or the implementation package. SysAid names four implementation packages and prices none of them. DataLunix quotes them together with the licence.

Who is an authorised SysAid ITSM distributor?

DataLunix distributes SysAid across the GCC, the United Kingdom, Europe, India and the United States, supplying genuine licences with local invoicing and onboarding delivered locally rather than from a distant queue. One contract covers the whole estate however many workspaces you eventually run.

Distribution matters for ITSM specifically because process rollouts are phased. You start with incident and request, add change and problem in the second quarter, then bring a second department onto the platform. Seat counts move throughout. A distributor handles those adjustments against one agreement instead of a fresh negotiation each time the scope grows.

Is DataLunix a SysAid ITSM partner?

Yes. DataLunix is an authorised SysAid partner, and because ITSM is not a separate product the same partnership covers the full ITIL feature set. You get genuine SysAid licences, vendor support and roadmap access, bought at up to 35% below list price.

What a partner adds on an ITIL project is sequencing. Someone has to decide which processes go live first, how the CMDB is populated, which automations are worth the Workato credits, and how many agents you actually need in month one versus month twelve. DataLunix prices that plan and the licences in one place.

Where can you buy SysAid ITSM?

You buy it as a SysAid Professional or Enterprise subscription through DataLunix. Send the agent count, the ITIL processes you intend to run in the first year, your managed asset estimate and your deployment preference, and the quote comes back with the licence and the unpublished variables priced together.

Before you commit, it is worth reading the wider picture: SysAid Pricing covers what SysAid publishes and what it does not, SysAid Help Desk Pricing looks at the same plan from a small-team angle, and SysAid IT Asset Management Pricing explains the 250-asset allowance that most ITIL estates will exceed. For the two obvious alternatives, compare Freshservice Pricing and HaloITSM Pricing, then ask DataLunix for a quote.

How much does SysAid ITSM cost by country and currency?

Every published SysAid figure is in US dollars. No euro, sterling, dirham or rupee list price exists on the vendor's site, so the rows below convert the $89 list and $57.85 DataLunix rates at indicative exchange rates for budgeting only. They are not vendor prices. DataLunix quotes in your local currency and fixes the rate for the contract term.

Frequently asked questions

How much does SysAid ITSM cost in the US? The ITIL feature set is part of SysAid Professional, which lists at $89 per agent per month in the US and comes to about $57.85 through DataLunix. There is no ITSM surcharge. Enterprise, for sandbox, tailor-made AI agents and Gold support, is quoted individually and starts at 20 agents.

Is SysAid ITSM a separate edition from the SysAid help desk? Not any more. SysAid's price list has two entries, Professional and Enterprise, and the ITIL processes live in Professional. Help Desk, ITSM and ESM remain as solution pages on the website, which is why older comparison articles still show them as priced editions with figures SysAid never charged.

Is SysAid ITSM priced per agent or per end user? Per agent, meaning the administrators who work in the platform. End users who raise tickets, approve changes in the portal or read knowledge articles are unlimited and unlicensed. For a 2,000-employee organisation with 20 agents, you license 20 seats, not 2,000.

Does SysAid charge extra for change management, problem management or CMDB? No. Change management, problem management, CMDB, SLA management and workflow automation are listed in the Professional plan at $89 per agent per month. Release management is not named as a distinct module on SysAid's ITSM page, so if formal release management is required, ask for a demonstration before signing.

Does SysAid ITSM pricing improve with agent volume? SysAid publishes no volume bands, no discount schedule and no minimum agent count for Professional, so any per-agent tier table you find online is not from the vendor. The only published threshold is the 20-agent floor for Enterprise. DataLunix negotiates the effective rate against your actual agent count.

How much can I save on SysAid ITSM with DataLunix? Up to 35% off list. On a 25-agent ITIL service desk that is $1,446.25 a month instead of $2,225, about $9,345 a year. The precise discount depends on volume, term and product mix, and DataLunix states it in the written quote rather than as a headline percentage.

Is DataLunix an authorised SysAid ITSM reseller? Yes. DataLunix is an authorised SysAid partner, and since ITSM is not a separate product the partnership covers the whole ITIL set. Licences are genuine, support comes from SysAid, and DataLunix handles provisioning, seat changes and renewals across the GCC, the UK, Europe, India and the US.
